ABOUT

Care House Learning Center (CHLC) began like most things as a simple dream with a mission to improve the lives of children and families with comprehensive support through accessible childcare with the love of Christ. In our inaugural year, we cared for for 58 children from 41 unique families and provided over 35,000 hours of childcare. Our care for students extends beyond the classroom as we foster community and familial education. Thanks to partnerships with other local non-profit organizations, we are able to offer free services such as vision and hearing screening, medical care, dental care, and food assistance. We also regularly host events for the entire family to build community connections for those that might otherwise be isolated.

By providing high quality care at an affordable rate, we are able to bridge the gap to increase a child’s lifelong success. Children who receive high quality early childhood education experience lasting benefits like increased wages, lower likelihood of needing welfare and reduced interactions with the criminal justice system.

COMMUNITY PARTNERS

CHLC is uniquely positioned to provide support to the whole family thanks to collaboration with key community partners. As a registered 501(c)3 and Nazarene Compassionate Ministry sponsored by Nampa First Church of the Nazarene (NFC), we are able to keep costs low to and pass that savings onto families.

Our collaboration with Care House Partnerships enables workforce families to access weekly food distributions, free counseling and medical services, as well as various other support groups and classes.

We have also partnered with Central Elementary School and our community board of directors ensure that our curriculum and childcare practices leave children equipped for all they will face in primary school and beyond.
