WAYS TO GIVE: NON-CASH
Property & Real Estate
Gifts of appreciated real estate such as a home, a rental property, or farmland can be a great way to bless God’s kingdom. You can receive a large income tax deduction, bypass capital gains tax, and eliminate the need to sell the property yourself.

Appreciated Stocks & Securities
If you have appreciated stock or securities, you can choose to give them directly to Care House Learning Center. We partner with the Nazarene Foundation who will receive the stock on our behalf, liquidate it, and then send us the proceeds. You’ll bypass the capital gains tax and receive a charitable contribution receipt.

Grain, Livestock, & Agricultural Product
​Through the Nazarene Foundation, Care House Learning Center can receive gifts of grain, wheat, corn, livestock, or any other type of agricultural product directly from the producer. By giving grain instead of cash, you can avoid realizing taxable income from the sale, but still deduct the production costs on your Schedule F tax form.

Other Assets
You can also give whole-life insurance policies, IRAs, jewelry, art, farm equipment, and more—any asset that has marketable value. The tax benefits for these gifts vary, but each one presents a great opportunity to use your God-given resources to bless the Care House Learning Center.
